Comfy and great in all climates
I wear this under my motorcycle helmet to keep my helmet interior fresh in the summer heat. Simple to hand wash in wool wash and dries in no time. Great in winter also and perfect as a neck gaiter too. Great product and the team at Merino Country were very helpful.

Excellent
I did need to sew this a little smaller for my own use. Bought it on spec while buying something else to take on a winter Stanthorpe trip and really like it. Only problem is my eldest son stole it and used it the whole time.

NECK GAITOR AND LEG WARMERS
VERY HAPPY WITH BOTH. THEY WASH WELL AND KEEP THEIR SHAPE.
Good Versatile headpiece for summertime
As an outdoor worker I've thought to myself how nice it'd be to have an ultra lightweight neck gaitor for summer. When I saw this neck gaitor available for purchase browsing the website I jumped at the chance to purchase 2 of them in black. I've worked mainly in gardening/landscaping and bush revegetation and I've had work colleagues ask how can I wear merino wool in this heat? Ever since learning what an amazing fabric merino wool is, I've adopted the philosophy of "How nice it is to be able to wear layers underneath my high vis work since extra sun protection is always good to have". I now work as an apprentice grounds keeper for a sports club where I mow the fields there. The versatility of this headpiece has been a great boon to me knowing the different ways it can be worn. I often wear it as a hood for that extra sun protection and as a mask since it can get dusty while I am mowing. Since I am in the public eye I recently bought 2 more in taupe a lighter colour for the summer. Despite the fact that ultralight weight merino clothing can comfortably be worn in summer even in darker colours, I've had people express valid concerns to me about the wearing black neck gaitor during the summer. So I thought to myself hmmm maybe I should get a lighter colour, I am glad I did knowing the quality of the products made at Merino Country. JOSEPH, Brisbane, QLD.

Wash before Wear. Warm Gentle Machine Wash. Use PH Neutral Detergent (no whiteners/brighteners or stain removers- they do nasty things to wool). Definitely NO Bleach. Warm Iron. Line Dry or Low Heat Tumble Dry (remove from Dryer just before completely dry) and do not wash with with sharp objects.
The more care you give your Merino wool products the longer they will last. Whilst our products are machine washable, to get the best life out of them we recommend handwash or gentle machine wash and please take care with what you wash them in and with.
See our full care instructions here.
Please note - do NOT use any detergents which contain Bleach, Whiteners or Brighteners or stain removers - there are a couple of big brands with bleach/whiteners/brighteners/stain removers which weaken the fibres and create holes in Merino fabric and are to be avoided. If unsure of what to use please contact us on 1800 606 969 and we'll help you out!
AVOID products that say things like "tough on stains" "super white" etc - they'll often have the following wording and are to be avoided - Optical Brighteners, Enzymes, Bleach - either chlorine or oxygen based, Heavy Duty Detergents, Softeners, Stain Removers, "Bio” detergents containing enzymes
