Payment, Duties, Shipping Times & Costs
Dispatch
We aim to dispatch all in-stock orders within 1-2 business days depending on availability of stock.
- Orders placed before 12.00 noon (AEST) on a business day are usually dispatched the same day.
- Orders placed after 12.00 noon, on weekends or public holidays, will be processed on the next business day.
- If you place multiple orders, we may combine them into one shipment where possible & will send by Express Post.
If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you with an estimated delivery date or offer an alternative product.
Delivery Times
Delivery times are estimates only and commence from the date of dispatch.
Once your parcel has left our premises, delivery is the responsibility of the postal or courier service. While we use reputable carriers, we cannot guarantee delivery times or accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including weather, customs processing, transport disruptions or peak periods.
Out of Stock Items
Whilst we make every effort to ensure our inventory is accurate, occasionally an item may become unavailable.
If this occurs, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer you the choice of:
- an alternative product (where available), or
- an estimated delivery date for the item to be placed on backorder.
We will always keep you informed so you can decide which option best suits you.

International Orders
We ship worldwide.
Our international postage charges are flat rates; however, your country may charge additional import costs including customs duties, taxes, VAT or clearance fees. These charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Some destinations, particularly rural or remote locations, may incur additional freight surcharges. If applicable, we will contact you before dispatch.
International deliveries may also be delayed by customs processing or local postal services, which are outside our control.

Duties, Taxes & Customs
Except for the USA, import duties, taxes and customs charges are not included in our prices and are payable by the purchaser. USA orders are as below.
As the importer of record, you are responsible for complying with the customs requirements of your destination country. We recommend checking with your local customs authority before ordering to determine any additional costs that may apply.
If duties or taxes are refused and the parcel is returned to us, any refund will be less:
- the original shipping charge;
- any return freight charged to us;
- merchant/payment processing fees; and
- any other costs incurred as a result of the returned shipment.
USA Orders
Orders shipped to the United States via Australia Post include applicable duties and government charges at checkout. These charges are collected and remitted to U.S. Customs by our third-party provider, Zonos, so there are no additional customs payments required on delivery.
These duties and taxes are imposed by the United States Government, not by Merino Country. They may include the applicable US Customs duty for the product's HTS classification together with the current 12.5% US Section 301 Forced Labour Tariff aplicable to Australian-Made goods. The exact amount is calculated automatically by Zonos based on the product type, value and country of Origin.
The United States currently imposes additional import duties on many imported goods, including Australian-made apparel. These government charges are calculated and collected at checkout by our customs partner, Zonos, and remitted directly to U.S. Customs.
They are imposed by the U.S. Government and are not related to Merino Country's manufacturing practices. All Merino Country garments are proudly made in Australia under Australian workplace laws.

We are an Australian based company and for overseas orders, your financial institution will convert the amount into your local currency using its applicable exchange rate and may charge additional conversion fees.
