Good quality
Good experience using this product. Used it in 11° Celsius temperature with only a thin jumper over it. I used it hunting so walking some distance before stopping and glassing mountain tops for 15-20 mins before moving on again, it worked well in this situation. It really came into its own at night time when the temperature plummeted. Overall very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend it.
Excellent
Hi, I just received my second order of Long Sleeve Shirts from Merino Country and once again so pleased with the quality. So much so that I have placed a third order for Pants and undies. Not only are your products excellent they are made here in Australia by an Australian company from Australian wool. That is so important at this moment and into the future. Keep up the great work. Regards, Stu
This is the best thermal you can buy
I am a slim woman who spends a lot of time outside and so I live in thermals during the winter months. Over the years, I have purchased many different merino thermals from many different companies and 'Merino Country' double knit jersey is by far the best. For one, it is the thickest that I have been able to find, and yet, it is extremely soft and comfortable. It washes beautifully, keeps its shape well and I can get several days of wear out of the item without washing because it doesn't hold body odour. I am 175cm tall and about 65kg and I chose the M size. I could have gone one size down for a slimmer fit, but I like to wear mine looser and I like that the garment is long enough to cover my lower back without pulling loose when I bend down. The fabric has a good stretch range so a small garment could potentially fit a much larger body than mine if you want a very close fit. One or two of these are all you need to keep you warm through cold Melbourne winters. This is another excellent quality item from a great Australian company.
Just Great
Wore the Long Sleeve T-Shirt in Tassie and it was just great and I'm also back for more Wundies - they're fantastic. Thanks!!
Wash before Wear. Warm Gentle Machine Wash. Use PH Neutral Detergent (no whiteners/brighteners or stain removers- they do nasty things to wool). Definitely NO Bleach. Warm Iron. Line Dry or Low Heat Tumble Dry (remove from Dryer just before completely dry) and do not wash with with sharp objects.
The more care you give your Merino wool products the longer they will last. Whilst our products are machine washable, to get the best life out of them we recommend handwash or gentle machine wash and please take care with what you wash them in and with.
See our full care instructions here.
Please note - do NOT use any detergents which contain Bleach, Whiteners or Brighteners or stain removers - there are a couple of big brands with bleach/whiteners/brighteners/stain removers which weaken the fibres and create holes in Merino fabric and are to be avoided. If unsure of what to use please contact us on 1800 606 969 and we'll help you out!
AVOID products that say things like "tough on stains" "super white" etc - they'll often have the following wording and are to be avoided - Optical Brighteners, Enzymes, Bleach - either chlorine or oxygen based, Heavy Duty Detergents, Softeners, Stain Removers, "Bio” detergents containing enzymes
