Frequently Asked Questions | Merino Country Australian Made

FAQ

Merino Clothing Sizing Information SIZING INFORMATION

What is your sizing?

Our sizing is designed for Australian Bodies and is a little more generous than garments made overseas. Please be aware of this particularly in Men's underwear. For Example: If you buy a 2XL in your "overseas made" undies you are more than likely an XL in our Wundies!

See our full sizing chart here.

Merino Washing CareFABRIC CARE INFORMATION

Is your fabric machine washable?

Yes!

You can machine wash our clothing on a gentle cold/warm setting. Only use PH Neutral Detergent (no whiteners/brightners or bleach - they cause holes in wool). Definately NO Bleach. Warm Iron. Line Dry or Low Heat Tumble Dry.

We recommend that you don't wash our garments with products that have metal zips or anything they can catch on in the wash

Please read our washing instructions carefully to ensure your Merino stays in the best quality and lasts for many years to come.

 Can I use fabric softener?

No, we do not advise the use of fabric softeners, brighteners and bleaches on our Merino. These weaken the fabric & put tiny little holes, runs and change the colour in our Merino fabric and are to be avoided as they will destroy your Merino products. If unsure of what to use please contact us on 1800 606 969 and we'll help you out!

Can I put my Merino Country garment in the dryer?

Yes! However, our Merino is quick drying and we recommend line dry in the shade but it can be put into a dryer on very Low Heat Tumble Dry (remove from Dryer just before completely dry).

Please read our washing care instructions carefully to ensure your Merino stays in the best quality and lasts for many years to come.

Heavyweight Interlock 275gsm - used in our thermals, pants, jackets, skirts, accessories and cold weather clothing

Is your Merino SPF 50+

Yes! The natural properties of Merino wool mean that natural Merino fibres are SPF 50+. This makes Merino an excellent choice for outdoor clothing, especially for those who spend a lot of time in the sun. With correct care Merino maintains its SPF rating even after multiple washes.
